Joy Quiles also know to his family as Papa, was called to his eternal home and passed away on Monday, January 17, 2022 at 5:09am, due to complications from Covid. To join his parents, Israel Quiles and Luz Pagan, his father in law, brother, brother in law, nephew and a few friends.

The loving husband, father, father in law, uncle, friend and the biggest role he played was being a grandfather. His most loved title, of Papa. Joy is survived by his widow Marixa Diaz. Joy will be remembered for his genuine, and humble personality. Along for his very well known hilarious laugh, and his amazing cooking. And pure love for his family and close friends.

Joy will be unbelievably missed, forever loved and never forgotten as he will live in all of our hearts forever.

A memorial service will be held at Christ fellowship Chapel 5312 Northlake Blvd. Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418, at 1:30pm on February 3, 2022. Followed by a reception at the church. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Joy was one of the most even-keeled people I’ve ever been given the opportunity to meet! I can truly say I was blessed to have shared many moments with such a great person. His welcoming spirit and amazing energy was contagious and very up lifting. I was blessed to share various aspects of my life with him and no matter where or when it was always love! He was the calming element to most moments, he brought such a genuine love that lifted the spirts of those around him. I want to send me deepest condolences to his family! My God bless you with strength and comfort during these trying times!! ❤️❤️

My deepest sympathies and condolences to the Quiles family and all their extended family. Though we cannot see or hear our loved ones, we carry them in our hearts every day. One scripture which has always brought me comfort when I lost my grandparents and friends in the past has been the Apostle John’s words at Revelations 21:4, where it states “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

We met Joy Quiles on vacation in Marco Island. He was very kind, very sweet. My husband and I enjoyed his company. He made the best ceviche I have ever tasted in my life. One thing I noticed about the Quiles family was they were a big family and they made sure they always got together no matter what on Sundays. In this day and age where families are being torn apart by stress of hard times and the pandemic, it was so nice to see one family making sure they always found time for each other.

Families have their ups and downs, but you can tell the structure and foundation of a family is strong when you see how they are together.

Joy Quiles, may you rest in peace awaiting the resurrection. May God be with your family. May he comfort them at this extremely difficult time and give them the strength to continue onward as you would have wanted them.
