Norma Lucia Vazquez

Mrs. Norma Lucia Vazquez “Nani,” age 83, passed away on January 30, 2022. She was born October 30, 1938, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and later settled with her family in Jupiter, Florida in 1993. Norma was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Osvaldo Vazquez, and her son Claudio Vazquez.

As a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, it was her family, and home that took precedence. Together with her loyalty that never wavered, it was times surrounded by family and loved ones that she cherished most. Further passions include sewing, cooking, and gardening.

Survived by her two sons, Ossie Vazquez of Houston, TX, Louis Vazquez of Port Saint Lucie, FL, and daughter, Monica Shearer of Jupiter, FL, 7 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.

A crown of white hair that stood as her halo, a velvet touch so gentle and genuine, accompanied by an infectious smile is the essence of an angel that will forever be etched in the hearts of many.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2022, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Tequesta, FL.
