Rick Geller

Rick Geller, age 72, passed away peacefully at home in Jupiter, Florida, surrounded by the ones who loved him most. Born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, Rick made Jupiter his lifelong home, where he built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family.
He was the beloved husband of Sherry, the love of his life and his best friend. Together, they shared a marriage full of joy and partnership. Rick was a proud and loving father to his two daughters, Katie (with husband Nate) and Kim (with husband Scott), who brought him endless pride and happiness.
Rick’s greatest joy came from being a grandfather to his six beautiful grandchildren: Bradie, Bryce, Abby, Andrew, Baker, Charlie. They were his everything, his light, his laughter, and his legacy.
Rick will be remembered for his kind heart, quick wit, steady presence, and the deep love he gave so freely to those around him. He will be missed dearly by his family, friends, and all who have had the privilege of knowing him.
At his request the family will honor his life and spirit by spreading his ashes in the Atlantic Ocean. It was a place that held special meaning to Rick. If you ever feel the need to talk with Rick, or simply want to visit, you’ll know exactly where to find him.
His spirit will always be near, in the ocean breeze and the rhythm of the waves.
In lieu of flower, we ask that gifts be made to Orlando Health Children’s Heart Institute, donation page linked below.

Sherry, I have known both of you since West Boulevard. I am happy the two of you shared a happy long marriage and created the family to support you now. I wish I was nearby to give you a hug. You were my first friend.
