Stanley Todd Edwards

Stanley Todd Edwards

May 18, 1961 ~ March 08, 2026

Stan, born in Springfield, Massachusetts lived his formative years traveling the world as an Air Force offspring. He enjoyed long distance car rides with his family often stopping for picnics along the way to an anticipated destination. Passing the time playing imaginary games with his brother and sleeping soundly on the makeshift comfy bed positioned on the rear seat in the car.

Stan, a graduate of Franklin High School in New Jersey was small in stature but his intellect and wit was extra large. He was a solid challenge to anyone that decided to take him on in sports, economic conversations, bowling, ping-pong, fishing, or his well-known enchiladas.

Stan was no nonsense when it came to liking folks. He wasn’t easy to impress but if he thought you were good people; you had a friend for life.

Stan worked as a land surveyor in Florida affording him the opportunity to use his precision skills and the flexibility to enjoy the nice weather.

When not working you could find Stan cheering for the Boston Celtics and New England Patriots, chatting it up in the garage with friends, fishing for that special catch, binge watching The Unexplained on TV, and most importantly spending quality time with Jeannette seeing a good musical or play at Kavets Center, listening to their favorite song ‘With Pleasure’ by Mass Production, and ending the evening with an Outback Special.

Some called him Stan-The-Man or Stanley Steamer over the years but most just called him friend.

Stanley leaves behind his parents Albert and Adele Edwards, brother Stacy Tyrone Edwards, sister-in-law Kelly Walker Edwards, son Myles Edwards, niece Kourtney Edwards Samuel, devoted partner Jeannette Cooper, best friend Gary Conover, and extended family and friends.

Rest in Peace Stan, you will be deeply missed.

Jeannette,

We send our prayers, and our thoughts are with you and your family.
I Bowled with Stan on the Championship winning team called “Kool and the Gang” and attended school with him.

We were blessed to have known him and enjoyed Stan for many years and he will never be forgotten. We wish you and Family members strength in this time of loss. God bless and keep you always.
