Robert Kijanka, 57, of Sebastian, Florida, passed away on August 29, 2026, surrounded by love.
Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Robert carried his love for his hometown with him throughout his life. He was a devoted Buffalo Bills fan and proudly followed his team wherever life took him. He lived most his life in Lake Park, Florida, before settling in Sebastian, where he and his wife, Linda, recently made their home.
Robert was a proud United States Army veteran who served his country with honor. He was a loving husband, son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Robert was the beloved son of the late Richard and Freda Kijanka. He loved his parents deeply and never stopped carrying their memory in his heart. He is survived by his brothers, John and Michael, who held a special place in his life.
Robert had a lifelong passion for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and loved the freedom of being on the open road. He also took great pride in his Buffalo roots and his beloved Bills.
He leaves behind his wife, Linda; his brothers, John and Michael; and many family members and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
Robert’s life was filled with the things he loved—his family, his country, his motorcycles, his Buffalo Bills, and the people who meant the most to him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Services
The burial of Robert’s ashes will take place on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 S.R.-7, Lake Worth, Florida, Lane 5.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2026, from 2:00–5:00 p.m. at American Legion Post 268, 1690 Avenue H W, Riviera Beach, Florida.
Family and friends are welcome to join us as we honor Robert, celebrate his life, and share memories of a man who will always be loved and remembered.

I will always remember your big smile and infectious laugh. I will carry the memory of the one summer we would sit on your parent’s front patio and talk and make up silly stories. You are now at peace. You will be missed dearly. To the Kijanka family, I am so very sorry, Robert was one of a kind

Robert was a great friend a great coworker. I worked with Robert back in 2020 at Nautical Ventures.
Robert gave me full access to his truck. He taught me the in and out of towing a boat trailer a boat so on so forth, I already had experience, but Robert gave me so much more, but he gave it to me with such a positive attitude that till this day I hold deep within my heart, and I will never forget everything he taught me. Robert was very, very kind to my wife. He always had a heart of gold. He was truly a gentleman and I will never forget him Robert you will be missed.

We will always cherish the memories of celebrating the annual boat parade party and Toys for Tots drive with you. Watching you bring all of your friends, dozens of Harleys pulling up, everyone with their arms full of presents for the children.
No matter the occasion, you always greeted us with a giant hug and unmistakable energy. Your personality was infectious, and your presence could light up any gathering.
We are also incredibly thankful for the love, encouragement, and support you showed us as we began the new chapter with our restaurant. It meant more to our family than you probably ever knew.
Robert, you will be truly missed. We are grateful for the memories, the laughs, the hugs, and the kindness you shared with our family over the years.
