Martha Elena Lahens

Martha Elena Lahens, beloved mother, wife, and friend, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the age of 88.

Born in Santiago de Cuba, Martha was an extraordinary woman—beautiful, strong, and full of grace. She married a good man, Eugenio Lahens, who was a great father and partner in building a life rooted in devotion and resilience. In 1970, they left Cuba with their two children, Teresa and Luis Alberto, seeking a better future. Their third child, Elizabeth, was born in New York City, completing the family that was always Martha’s greatest joy.

Her children were her world, and she poured her heart into raising them with love, strength, and unwavering support. Martha was a devoted mother, a loyal wife, and a cherished friend to many. Her warmth, wisdom, and quiet strength touched everyone who knew her.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A service will take place on Monday, November 24, 2025 at 11:00am at Saint Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 621 Alton Road, Miami Beach, Florida 33139.
