God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around you
And whispered, “Come with Me”
With tearful eyes, we watched you suffer
And saw you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard-working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

Laurie and family. I’m so sorry for the loss of your brother. I fondly remember him from riverside rollaway. He was the best skater there, always up to something! May the memories you have of him help to ease you through this most difficult time. God rest his soul. May he rest in peace.
