Selicia “Lisa” Daniels Noreika

September 06, 1961 ~ June 23, 2025

Selica Noreika, a longtime resident of Palm Beach County Florida died on June 23, 2025, at the age of 63. She was born on September 6, 1961 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Thomas and Yasuyo Kobayashi Daniels.

 

Selicia grew up in West Bristol, PA and was a member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She graduated from Bishop Conwell High School in 1979 and attended Temple University.

 

Selicia worked as a Store Manager for Acme Markets and her strong leadership skills enabled her to quickly advance to District Manager during her 22 years of employment in PA. She was recruited to Florida in 2004 and continued in management at Winn Dixie and Fresh Markets.

 

Selicia loved all animals, including her Shih Tzu dogs and her birds, Lexie and Lola. After retiring in 2023, she enjoyed gardening, yoga and Tai Chi. She shared a happy, peaceful and loving relationship with Freddy Bedasie for the last 2 years of her life.

 

Selicia was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Yasuyo. Left behind to cherish her memory are her child: Alex Mauer; siblings Armand, Roman (Denise), and Felicia (Jeff) Daniels; nieces & nephews: Jeannine Sanders, Matthew Jankowski, Christa, Darius, Jiro (Mackenzie), and Jomei Daniels.

 

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her laughter, generosity, and love of life will live on through the many lives she touched.

 

Respecting her wishes, she will be cremated and the family will celebrate her life in private, with a seaside scattering of her ashes.

Please accept my sincerest sympathy for your loss.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Lisa’s passing. I will miss her dearly. I’ll miss her smile, her contagious laughter, her kindness, and our long talks. She was truly a beautiful person inside and out.

May all your cherished memories bring you warmth and comfort during this difficult time.
