Anthony Joseph Ferrante

Anthony Joseph Ferrante

March 19, 1958 ~ February 12, 2024

Anthony Joseph Ferrante passed away February 12, 2024 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida at the age of 65.  He was the son of Anthony Daniel Ferrante and Rose Ann Pagliaro of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Anthony was born in Philadelphia, and was the founder and owner of Reliant Senior Care, the largest network of senior living and rehabilitation centers in the state of Pennsylvania.

In addition to his successful business interests, he made time for philanthropic work, and contributed to various community causes. He was quoted in a Philadelphia newspaper when discussing his annual sponsorship of a local golf tournament, “Everyday I feel gratitude for the abundance in my life.”
Anthony loved the Florida lifestyle and relocated to the Palm Beach Gardens area over 15 years ago retiring in 2020.

Anthony’s passions included being a father and spending time with his family, sports – especially football, and collecting and driving exotic sports cars.  His energy filled a room and he effortlessly made everyone in his presence feel important and welcomed.

He is survived by his wife Ellen, sons Anthony Joseph Ferrante II (20), Patrick Darren Ferrante (17), sisters, Mary Anne Ferrante, Denise Bell (Ferrante) and Carol Anne Ferrante and their spouses Joseph Bell and Jim Rhodes, stepdaughters Kathryn Groff Held and Sara Groff Quinn, their spouses, Robert Held and Oliver Quinn, step grandchildren Jack, Sienna, and Aster, and niece Nicole and nephew Anthony.

A celebration of Anthony’s life will be held on Tuesday, March 19 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ferrante residence, 736 Harbour Isles Way in Palm Beach Gardens.  All are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Tampa General Hospital (Oncology),  https://www.tgh.org/foundation/giving/make-a-gift or Boca Raton Regional Hospital, https://donate.brrh.com/make-a-donation/.

It was my pleasure to have known “Don Ferranti” for the brief time I did. He is gone far too soon. D
