Anthony Presto

November 19, 1928 ~ February 27, 2024

Anthony Presto, devoted husband, father of 4, grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 6, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at the age of 95 surrounded by his family. Tony was born on November 19th, 1928 in Easton, Pa. to Pietro and Frances Presto. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy. After military service he graduated from Lafayette college with an engineering degree and was hired by ITT in Nutley, NJ where he spent his entire career. On July 16, 1955 he married Enrica Marini with whom he shared his love for life and raised four children. Tony is survived by his wife Enrica, two daughters, Cynthia Moore (Kenny) Donna Ross (Daniel) and two sons David (Star) and Alan (Amira), brother Vincent, brother- in-law Dr. Edward Platia (Rose) and sister-in-law Dr. Maria Pia Platia Bookman (Michael) as well as a host of nephews and nieces. Grandchildren Ryan Presto (wife Ashley and daughters Kayla and Kelsey), Dr. Jenna Presto Sadreameli (husband Kyle), Alyssa Lovisa (husband Michael and daughter Alessandra), Christopher Moore (wife Kyleigh,
daughter Lily and son Carter), Justin Presto (wife Lydia and daughter Eliana), Matthew Moore, Taylor Ross, and Brittany Presto. He is predeceased by his brothers Carmelo, Rocco, Joseph, Philip and his sister Mary and brother-in-law Gerardo Marini. During his life, Tony traveled and relished spending time with family and friends. In retirement, he enjoyed his Jupiter Fl. home where he swam, biked and enjoyed great food and family dinners. Tony and Enrica liked periodically organizing Caribbean cruises with their children and grandchildren – producing much joy and some interesting family stories. He will be missed and forever in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Trustbridge Hospice; https://trustbridge.com/give/ or mail to Hospice of Palm Beach County Foundation; 5300 East Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.

Visitation will be held at 9:45am on Friday, June 14, 2024, followed by a Memorial Mass at 10:30am at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 32 St James Pl, Totowa, NJ 07512. Military honors will be rendered at the conclusion of the mass.
