Armand (Amram) Malky

With profound sadness, we share the passing of Armand (Amram) Malky, who courageously battled heart disease until his final breath on October 2, 2024, at the age of 90. Born in Marrakesh, Morocco, on May 1, 1934, to Simcha and Shalom Malka, Armand’s life was a testament to resilience, love, and unwavering strength.

Armand was a mechanic by trade, a pillar of strength, whose unbreakable spirit carried his family through life’s challenges. As a devoted husband to Marianne for 50 years, he was her steadfast rock, and she, his unwavering companion and her greatest love. Together, they built a home filled with laughter and memories that will live on forever in the hearts of those they touched.

A proud and deeply loving father to Bonnie, Jan, Joy, and Desiree, Armand’s love for his children knew no bounds. His pride was evident in every word. He shared a special bond with Desiree, with whom he worked side by side on the homes they renovated together. Whether it was decorating for the holidays with Marianne or caring for the dogs that brought him happiness, Armand found beauty in life’s simplest pleasures.

Armand’s ashes will be spread in Israel, a country he cherished and served with honor in the military. Though he has left this world, his memory will forever be a source of strength and comfort.

He was on borrowed time, but never once did he surrender. Those who knew him believed he would live forever. And in a way, he will.
