Brian O’Donnell

Brian O’Donnell

July 15, 1982 ~ April 09, 2023

Brian Patrick O’Donnell (OD), our deeply loved son, brother, husband, dad, uncle, and friend passed away on April 9, 2023 at the age of 40. He spent his life loving God, his family and his friends.  In any situation, Brian was skilled at making everyone feel comfortable, lifted up, and valued.  Brian had a big heart, a love for laughter, and found happiness in helping others.   His selfless spirit brought light and joy wherever he went. He was passionate about sports, including golf and Notre Dame football. Brian’s pride and joy was being Kylin’s dad. From date nights to dance parties, his relationship with her was extremely special.  Brian was a devoted, loving husband to Lindsay (Lady OD), and enjoyed their grand adventures together.  His family enjoyed his holiday cooking, predictable funny comments (“Here we go…[eye roll].” and “The apple doesn’t fall far.”), and frequent bad dad jokes! He will be deeply missed by all.

Brian is survived by his wife Lindsay, daughter Kylin, parents (Kevin and Barb O’Donnell), Sister and Brother-in-law (Christy and David Stuart), Sister and Brother-in-law (Michelle and Brandon Catoe), Nieces and Nephews (Christopher and Jasmine Catoe, Caylie and Nic Bryant, Jeffrey and Joshua Stuart). Brian’s family is comforted with the confidence in his immediate presence in heaven, meeting his Savior and friend, Jesus, face to face, and being reunited with loved ones and friends.

Brian’s life and legacy will be celebrated by friends and family with a memorial service and reception on Friday, April 21, 2023, at 4:00 pm at Christ Fellowship Church (5343 Northlake Blvd, PBG, 33418).  In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations for medical expenses and the future care of Lindsay and Kylin through the gofundme account- https://gofund.me/615aa50c.
