Cary Jean was always so kind, attentive to you, listening and engage in the conversation. She and Gilbert seemed they were on the same page, what a great match! Gilbert left us a while back, now Cary Jean, I will miss them both.

This is such a heartfelt obituary for a beautiful woman. The loss of a parent, especially your mother, is a huge loss on a day to day basis, e. g. When you pick up the phone to call her and she doesn’t answer, it leaves you wishing she was and makes your heart hurt a little deeper. After some time this hurt will wane as you finally realize she has passed. God bless you and your family throughout this difficult time and may she rest in peace. ❤️

I was a classmate of Cary Jean’s at St Augustine in Lebanon. Our farms where we grew up were not far apart and we rode the same bus to school. I remember when Cary Jean became enamored with a certain boy on the bus named Gilbert. He was the main topic of her conversation for years and she left no doubt that Gilbert was her future. I attended their wedding at the very end of our senior year and she went off to Alaska with Gilbert, the love of her life. Our paths only crossed a few times after that but Cary Jean will always be remembered by me as that full of life, genuinely good person. My condolences to her children and grandchildren. I know she dearly loved you all because that’s who she was.
