Debora Gail Maale

Debora Gail Maale

June 12, 1960 ~ January 16, 2022

Debora Gail Maale went to her eternal home to join her sister, Aileen and her parents, Gerhard and Sophie Maale on January 16, 2022 after her courageous battle with cancer.  Born on June 12, 1960, a native to Palm Beach, she was raised in the St. Juliana Catholic Community where she (and her children) were baptized and attended grade school.  Debbie graduated in 1978 from Cardinal Newman High School and completed graduate studies at Palm Beach Community College.

Debbie was an amazing woman who was devoted to her family. Alongside her daughter Angela, she developed Orange Blossoms Florals & Event Styling, a family owned elegant floral decor and event styling company. Her passion and love for floral design has inspired her daughter to excel and continue the family business.

A loving mother, grandmother and sister, Debbie is survived by her daughter and best friend Angela Johnson Wood and her husband Michael, son Joshua Johnson and his wife Tanya; grandchildren Michael, Madelynn, Sebastian, Locklan and Rhone; brothers Dr. Gerhard  Maale and Dennis Maale; sisters Roxann King, Ingrid Schultz, Karen Roth and Laura Sickle.

Debbie will be remembered for her beautiful smile and contagious laugh, her sense of style, and her loyalty to her family and forever friends.

A Memorial mass will be held at St. Juliana’s Catholic Church at 11AM on February 7, 2022 followed by a celebration of life held at The Beach Club on the Waterfront.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorial donations can be made in Debbie’s honor to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
