I only knew Mr. Rubio through his son. But a real powerhouse was he, mentally and physically. Some would say a real standup guy. Very much in charge of his own destiny right to the end. We need more of his kind.

Praying for strength and peace for all the Rubio family in the tremendous loss of our beloved, one-of-a-kind Uncle Fernando.
The Lopez family is deeply grateful for his brave trailblazing when emigrating to the U.S. over half a century ago. His help in making a new home and exploring our new homeland was invaluable, and he kept us laughing all the way.

With deep appreciation and love, I am thanking the Creator for his precious life and will cherish his memory always.
