Janice Garrick-Longarzo

Janice Garrick-Longarzo, also known as Jan, 65 Years Old from Royal Palm Beach, FL passed away on June 15, 2021 at Wellington Hospital from complications due to Diabetes.

Janice was born on June 3, 1956 in Kingston, Jamaica, she was the only child of Sonia Reginia Palmer. Growing up in Jamaica, Janice made many great memories with family and friends and enjoyed a good education where she achieved her college degree. In her early twenties, Janice migrated to New York where she gave birth two son’s before settling down in South Florida where she had her third son. It is here where she displayed her creative abilities, as she enjoyed floral and home design while raising her family alongside her mother.

Some things that made Janice happy were gardening and watching Shark Nato. Her happiest times were Family Sunday’s eating curry goat and stew peas and Christmas Day celebrations with her family. She enjoyed good company with a lot of laughter and fine spirits. She developed lifelong friendships and eventually remarried. Janice was a Christian woman who raised her children to know and love God. Anyone who knew her knew how kind, generous, funny and genuine she was.

Janice is survived by her husband, Nicholas (Nick) Longarzo, her three sons Mark, Duane and Sean Garrick, daughter in laws’ Tamarah, Danielle and Corina Garrick, her grandchildren Cashe Brianna, Taeja Alexandra, Mark Josiah, Makaila Audrey, Malakai Duane, Sean Elijah (Eli), Joseph Anthony, Desirae Ana, Sabrina Michelle and her unborn grandson Micah Jayce Garrick.

A memorial service for Janice will be held for her immediate family and close friends.
