Leroy Winton Dennison Sr.

Leroy W. Dennison Sr, age 74, of West Palm Beach FL and formerly of Spring Valley NY, passed away on August 7, 2021 after a lengthy battle of chronic illness. He was a free-spirited man who embraced his Ramapo Lenape Tribe heritage. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and afterwards enjoyed his trucking career prior to retirement. He loved traveling the country, listening to country music and spending time with his family and many friends. He will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his children, Leroy “Butchy” Dennison Jr. (Gale) of Valdosta, GA, Mona Smith (Franco) of Ludowici, GA, Michael Dennison (Wendy) of Augusta, GA, Victoria Stacks (Gerald) of Valdosta, GA, Jessica Hester (Demetrius) of Fort Worth, TX, Jason “BlackWolfe” Dennison of Fort Lauderdale, FL, TJ Mann (Kay) of Port Jervis, NY and Amanda Mann of Port Jervis, NY. Grandchildren, LaDarius Dennison, Marquez Dennison, LaKembria Dennison, Sharvez Dennison, Angel Dennison, Christopher Dennison, MyKul Dennison, Malachi Dennison, Jacob Dennison, Hannah Dennison, Kaleb Stacks, Kaylen Stacks, Khloe Stacks, Kaylee Stacks, Leilauni Hester, Alaina Hester, Demetrius Hester Jr. and a host of great grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife Castella Dennison, his mother Winona Dennison Butler, his father Winton Leroy Van Dunk and his brother Gerald Butler.

A celebration of life will be held in his honor in September 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and with respect to his final wishes, it will be a small gathering amongst his children only. We appreciate you respecting our wishes during this time.
