Linda C. Hussey

Linda Hussey, 79, of Tequesta, wife of Richard (Dick) Hussey, passed away at home January 31, 2025 from multiple myeloma and complications from a broken hip suffered back in June of 2024. She was born in Quincy, Mass to the late Ruby (Story) Walker and Walter Walker. She was raised in Braintree, Mass, and attended high school at the Woodward School for Girls in Quincy Mass. She was a graduate of the Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School in Boston, and later earned an Associate degree at North Shore Community College in Beverly. She worked in secretarial, administrative, and bookkeeping jobs in the Greater Boston area.

In 1992, she and her husband relocated in Florida, following her father who had relocated here in the early 1980’s. She worked with her husband at his business, Allantesource, in Mangonia Park for a number of years, then continued the bookkeeping and administrative work at home after her retirement in 2011. Decorating was her hobby, something she always enjoyed. Her love for animals was high on her list too.

She leaves her husband Dick, a cousin in Texas, a cousin in California, two step daughters and 4 grandchildren in New Hampshire.

Support from Treasure Coast Hospice during her final days was greatly appreciated.
