Martin W. Kurtz

Martin W. Kurtz, age 73, of Jupiter, FL, and formerly of Metuchen, NJ, passed away on July 1, 2026, with his family by his side after a tough battle with lung cancer.  Martin was an amazing man who was incredibly devoted to his family.  He had a passion for the great outdoors, fishing, traveling, music, and history. Martin graduated from The University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Finance. He also formed close childhood friendships that continued throughout his life. Martin was kind, loving, and considerate of everyone he met. He had a passionate interest in understanding other people’s viewpoints. As an Electrical Contractor, Martin owned and operated his business Amber Electric in Florida for over 35 years.

He will be missed by all that knew him, especially his family and friends. Martin was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle.  He is survived by his loving wife Donna of 42 years, his beloved daughter Alaina Kurtz Cone (Kevin) of Jupiter, FL, his brother Richard Kurtz (Patti) of Keansburg, NJ, his niece Alyssa Byrnes (Chris) and grandniece Elle Byrnes of Keansburg, NJ, and his nephew Ryan Kurtz (Christina) of Charleston, SC.
