Michael Allan Raphael
February 14, 1966 ~ July 28, 2026
Michael Allan Raphael, cherished father, devoted partner, and beloved friend, passed away peacefully July 28, 2026, at Saint Mary’s Hospital after suffering another stroke. Born on February 14, 1966, in the sunlit city of Miami, Florida, Michael brought warmth and joy to all who knew him.
Michael was predeceased by his father, Stanley Raphael, and his brother, Bruce Raphael. He is survived by his loving daughter, Barbara Lynn Christopher, who shared his passion for adventures and theme parks, and his wonderful girlfriend of four and a half years, Roni Welton. Together, Michael and Roni embarked on countless journeys, from exhilarating cruises to fascinating conventions, always savoring life’s vibrant experiences.
Michael’s infectious smile and uplifting spirit were his signature traits. A natural jokester, he possessed the remarkable ability to brighten even the darkest of days with his humor and kindness. His love for Star Trek was legendary among those who knew him; he was a veritable encyclopedia of all things related to the beloved show.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all of Michael’s doctors and therapists for their tireless efforts and unwavering dedication in supporting him through his recovery journey. Michael was not only a man of resilience but one whose legacy of joy, love, and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.

Michael was a good friend and neighbor. We shared many good talks, especially concerning his many trips with Roni and Barbara to his favorite spot in Orlando!
He would help me when I ran into car problems or problems in the yard.
I am fortunate to have met Michael, as well as his daughter, Barbara and partner, Roni. Such good people!
I miss you, Michael!

Dad the world is not the same without you! I miss your witty jokes, the playful banter we would have, the conversations we would have. I miss making plans to go to Disney or universal. I miss you! Time was too short! I’m glad you did everything you could to be apart of Ethan and I’s wedding! The progress you had made was astounding! You were always a fighter! You fought till the end. I love you forever dad!
