Paul Allen Kowalski

Paul Allen Kowalski

September 20, 1957 ~ December 24, 2022

Paul A. Kowalski, 65, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida passed from this life on December 24, 2022 after an inspiring, years long battle against Multiple System Atrophy (MSA).

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Paul grew up in Southampton, NY as part of a large and loving family. The “wild child” that he was grew up to be the free spirit for which he was always known. Gifted with blonde hair, blue eyes, and a grin that bespoke an inner mischief, Paul found his gift for gab and hearty jokes a perfect fit for his career as a bartender at some of the Palm Beaches top restaurants and clubs. When not filling glasses and spinning new tales, Paul could be found pursuing his true passion…..fishing. Paul pursued trophy fish in the waters of South Florida up to the backwoods of Minnesota and Canada.

Paul is survived by his mother Pauline Kowalski of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; brother Gene and wife Lourdes Kowalski of Jacksonville, FL; sister Kim Brownhill of Palm Beach Gardens,FL; and sister Karen Johnson and husband Richard of Baldwinsville, NY. His siblings are joined in remembering Paul by his 6 nieces and nephews (Matt, Katie, Kirsten, Danny, Michael, and Victoria) whom he loved dearly and 6 great nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his father William Kowalski of Southampton, NY in 1977.

Paul found his truest peace and happiness being out on the water and his family will honor and remember him with a private celebration of life with a ceremony at sea at a later date. We thank the staff of Palm Beach County Hospice (TrustBridge) for the incredible dignity they provided Paul throughout his journey and his very special friend, Mr. Alan Seligson, who made Paul’s journey with MSA so much easier.
