Robert Charles Hindrichson

Robert Charles Hindrichson

December 07, 1971 ~ October 06, 2022

Robert Charles Hindrichson, beloved son, brother, and friend, departed this life on October 6, 2022 at his home in Hobe Sound, FL. Whether at work or with family and friends, his funloving, kind and courteous demeanor was evident throughout his life. Rob was born in Woodbury, NJ, and grew up in Vineland, NJ. After graduating from Vineland High School, Rob served six years in the Navy. His military service instilled traits that he would carry throughout his life: punctuality, the desire for excellence in his work, and integrity. He was an avid letter-writer and sent postcards and notes from every corner of the world. Following his military service, Rob would go on to manage retail tire store operations in both New Jersey and Florida. In 2001, at the age of 29, he was involved in a tragic automobile accident as a pedestrian and suffered a traumatic brain injury. Despite lasting effects from his injuries, Rob overcame many challenges and embraced woodworking and carpentry. These skills led to projects that he shared with family, friends, and his local church.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Ella Turner, of Hobe Sound, FL; his sister, Merike
(Hindrichson) Seely and her husband, Peter, of Jupiter, FL; and his niece and nephew Evelyn
and Alexander Seely, respectively. He is predeceased by his father, Ervin Hindrichson.
A funeral and interment will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m., at Good
Shepherd Episcopal Church, 400 Seabrook Road, Tequesta, FL 33469. Immediately following,
there will be a reception in the courtyard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his
memory to Good Shepherd Episcopal Church.
