Robert Edward Arbacheski

Robert Edward Arbacheski

July 09, 1952 ~ March 21, 2023

On March 21,2023, Robert “Bear” Arbacheski went to his final rest in West Palm Beach, FL. He was 70 years old.

Robert was born on July 9, 1952, in New Britain, CT. He was a veteran and honorably served his country in the US Coast Guard during the Vietnam war. Robert’s greatest loves included his family, his fellow veterans, and the community he built everywhere he went. Bear was an honorary member of State Motorcycle Club Lake Worth at the time of his passing; he also ran a food pantry for veterans and was passionate about helping those in need, taking up cause for his fellow brothers-in-arms, and spending time – often fishing – with family.

Robert is survived by sister Kathleen Kondracki and her partner Jack Vaillancourt of Enfield, CT; brother Andrew Arbacheski and sister-in-law Jackie Arbacheski of Ellington, CT; and sister Geralyn Shaffer and brother-in-law Steven Shaffer of Port Orange, FL. He was also uncle and great uncle to many beloved nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Robert A. Arbacheski and Genevieve Walczyk Arbacheski, as well as sisters Donna Arbacheski and Jeannie Hettle.

A celebration of Bear’s life will be held 3-5pm at Johnny Qs on Saturday, April 1 (Location 3801 10th Ave N, Palm Springs, FL 33461). There will be a blessing of the bikes for those who can attend. A family gathering will be held on April 15 for the spreading of his ashes and our final farewell in Daytona Beach, FL.

 In lieu of flowers,

The family asks you to please donate to your local food pantry in his memory.

“Bear was not only a friend but a “Brother” of mine for 15 yrs. We rode our bikes with our motorcycle club around 75,000 miles in that time. We were involved in many donations for those who needed help. The autistic school in WPB Fl., boys and girls club in WPB Fl., Joe DiMaggio toys for tots, the biggest toy run in the USA, Bear went to the local high schools in the area and put the men in tuxes for the prom for $15. The list goes on and on. I will miss our Brother Bear!!

Bear, was one amazing person. He was tough as nails yet had a soft caring side to him. He had all his brothers backs and they all loved and respected him. I will always remember and respect the Bear that I knew. My daughters first bodyguard and my son’s funeral man at arms. He kept order when it was needed, and he shared his knowledge to all those that were around him. Rest in Peace Brother Bear. GBNF SFFS

Rest in Peace brother Bear. You were always loved and respected by us all. You were Melinda’s first and favorite bodyguard. And when order was needed to maintain my son David’s funeral on time and respectful you were there to take charge and make sure it was done right. You had everything always in a quiet control. Ride in peace brother you will be missed but fondly remembered. SFFS RIP

This still seems so surreal. I’m forever thankful to have had you as an uncle. Your big personality will be so missed by many. One of my favorite things was listening to you and mom reminisce and then go back and forth on who’s version of the events were correct while laughing hysterically. Thank you for a lifetime of memories and your love for my children. Love you ❤️
