With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas F. Margillo, who departed this life on July 23, 2026, at home, comforted by the love of his life, Joy Kaye, and his beloved dog, Ella.

Tom was born on March 30, 1965, in Warwick, New York, to Frank Margillo and Jeanette F. Margillo. He attended Monticello High School in New York before relocating to South Florida, where he lived for many years. He later made Puerto Rico his home for more than 17 years before returning to South Florida, where he spent his final years.

Tom was preceded in death by his father, Frank Margillo; his mother, Jeanette F. Margillo; his sister, Lois Margillo; and his nieces, Sarajean and Tiffany Trust.

He is lovingly remembered by his fiancée, Joy Kaye; his sisters, Jeanette K. Margillo (Julian Dawson), Maria Margillo, France Margillo, and Carolanne Margillo; his aunt, Georgette Kirschenbaum; and many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Everyone who knew Tom, knew him for his striking blue eyes, infectious smile, and zest for life. He had a passion for golf and a larger-than-life personality that could light up any room. A dedicated electrician for more than 30 years, Tom took great pride in his work and was known for his unwavering commitment to his craft.

He will also be remembered for his unmistakable, boisterous laugh, his enjoyment of a cold beer with friends, spirited games of darts, and his remarkable ability to bring laughter and joy to those around him. His warm heart, generous spirit, and vibrant personality left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Tom will be deeply missed, forever loved, and fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
