William P. Hayes

William P. Hayes, age 79 of Tequesta, FL passed away peacefully on March 4, 2023. William was born in Yonkers, NY where he later married Stephanie Jean Toth on September 13, 1969, moved to Hampton Bays, NY, where they raised their family. William and Stephanie have been married for 54 years.

A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. William is survived by his wife Stephanie, his son William Hayes of Smyrna, NY and daughters Stephanie Jean Vetrano of Ledyard, CT, Colleen Carter of Riverhead, NY and Kelly Hayes of East Lyme, CT. Grandchildren Taylor, Paige, Alexis, Stephanie, Andrew, Jason, Alexander, Brandon, Ava and Kennedy; and great grandchild Amelia.
William was a proud union electrician for I.B.E.W Local 25. He enjoyed fishing, golf, going on cruises with his wife, watching NASCAR and spending time with his family.
